Whenever I watch Desolation of Smaug...I can't take my eyes off of Thranduil's HAIR. I wonder if it gets annoying for the elves with their hair whipping in their faces while they fight...? I already get tempted to cut all my hair off on windy days. ...I hate tangles. :I

EXACTLY. I am always distracted by how perfectly straight Thranduil's hair is that I forget to listen to what he's actually saying.
